Freight and Packing Charges
Orders Containing Bare Rooted Roses
Bare rooted roses are supplied during Winter only (June to the end of 31st August).

Bare rooted rose orders are delivered by either Australia Post or Courier, depending on what the order contains. Bare rooted roses are bundled per order and included in one parcel, therefore you will receive one parcel per order.
All deliveries containing bare rooted roses are trackable. You will receive an email on despatch containing your tracking code and details on how to track the consignment. Please ensure you provide your correct email address to receive this service.
Treloar Roses are accredited to ship to all states and territories of Australia and meet all interstate quarantine restrictions and procedures for the movement of plant material. All conditions and protocols are complied with, which is verified by annual audits conducted by the Department of Primary Industries - Plant Standards.
W.A. CUSTOMERS PLEASE NOTE:
From the 1st July 2013 the Department of Agriculture and Food (DAF) introduced a quarantine inspection charge for all consignments containing plant material. To minimize the impact of these fees Treloar Roses have entered a chargeback arrangement with DAF. All consignments containing roses will now incur a $15.00 surcharge. This is in addition to freight charges.
Orders Containing Potted Roses
Potted roses are supplied during Summer only (November to March).
Freight charges for potted roses will vary depending on the delivery address as well as quantity of roses and are charged at cost. For an estimated freight cost add your potted roses to your shopping cart, select 'View Cart' and enter your details into 'Estimated Shipping'.
Despatch and Tracking:
To avoid damage to our potted roses during transit, each potted rose is individually packaged.
All orders containing potted roses are delivered with Australia Post and are trackable. You will receive an email on despatch containing your tracking code and details on how to track the consignment. Please ensure you provide your correct email address to receive this service.
Due to quarantine restrictions we cannot ship potted roses to all states of Australia. Delivery of potted roses can only occur in Victoria, South Australia, New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory and Queensland.
Orders Containing Garden Products
Orders containing only Garden Products or Books are delivered year round thoughout Australia by Post.
Products included in orders containing roses will be despatched with the plants at no additional freight cost - shipping cost still applies for the delivery of the plants.

For every order that exceeds $100.00 (excluding Potted Roses) we will include one FREE bush rose . Plus one EXTRA free rose for each additional $100.00 of your order value up to a maximum of 5.

Your FREE roses will be selected by Treloar Roses. Free Roses are not covered by our warranty.
Bare Root Roses
We at Treloar Roses make every effort to supply plants of suitable quality and of the variety specified at time of sale. Our roses are packed with care and should arrive in good condition. If you have any doubts about the condition or quality please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your delivery.
Losses - Treloar Roses’ guarantee extends until the bare root plant has broken dormancy and produced foliage. Plants are a living product, its performance will depend on the growing conditions and how it is cared for, which are factors beyond our control. We cannot therefore automatically accept responsibility for losses. If your plant has received our recommended care and doesn’t perform to your satisfaction, please speak to one of our friendly staff as soon as possible before removing it from your garden.We do not guarantee roses planted away from the residence of the purchaser.
All claims must be made before the 30th of October in the year of purchase. We will require photo verifications and in some cases may request return of plants with a soil sample. If necessary replacements will be provided in the current season or the following winter.
Incorrect variety - If you believe an incorrect variety has been delivered to you, please contact us during the summer of the year of purchase and we will replace it the following winter season. Photographic proof will be required.
Treloar Roses guarantee that the roses you receive in pots will arrive in good condition and be of the variety purchased. If you are in any way concerned about the plants please contact us within 24 hours of delivery. A photograph will be requested via email.
If your plant has been damaged in transit, please photograph plant and packaging.
Incorrect variety claims must be notified within 2 months of delivery.
Size and Quality
As our range of varieties is so diverse, from modern hybrids through to old fashioned roses, the saleable size of certain varieties can vary considerably. Bare-root rose plants are generally 30-40cm long with one, two or three stems. Many varieties only produce one stem in the nursery stage. Every care is taken to ensure only the best sized plants available of each variety are included in your order. An extensive root system is your best guide to a good quality plant.
With such an extensive range it is difficult for us to predict in advance our customer's requirements. Occasionally a variety becomes sold out. In case this should happen, please make clear your instructions. We will not substitute varieties unless requested.
Roses travel extremely well and are sent by us throughout Australia. Plants are suitably wrapped and sealed in a cardboard carton to retain moisture and should remain fresh for at least 2 weeks in transit. When your plants arrive, undo the parcel carefully and soak the roses overnight in water. Do not allow roots to dry out.
When to Expect Despatch
All orders are despatched according to when they were received. Despatching commences from late May through to the end of August. Orders containing Standards will be shipped from Mid June and Weepers are from the end of June onwards.
Addition to Orders
We will accept additions to your order, dependant upon availability. However, we would appreciate limiting the number of times you add to an order. Alterations and additions to orders after 1st June may result in some delay in the despatch of your consignment. Also, additions close to depatching time may be treated as a separate order.
In the event a rose or product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error, Treloar Roses shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for products listed at the incorrect price. Treloar Roses shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, Treloar Roses shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.
Orders for Collection
If you prefer to collect your roses from the nursery, please indicate clearly when you order. Please phone at least 24-hours before collecting so we can arrange to have your order ready.
