MS Australia

MS Australia
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a condition of the central nervous system, interfering with nerve impulses within the brain, spinal cord and optic nerves.

MS affects over 25,600 in Australia and more than two million diagnosed worldwide. Most people are diagnosed between the ages of 20-40, but it can affect younger and older people too. Roughly three times as many women have MS as men.

MS Australia is the national voice for people with multiple sclerosis. They work in advocacy and communications, and collaborate with our stakeholders to benefit thousands of people affected by MS across the country. They work closely with MS Research Australia, who fund research into better detection, treatments and a cure. They also advocate and communicate on behalf of all our state member organisations who work tirelessly providing services, programs and support to the MS community.

Treloar Roses has named this beautiful rose to honour Betty Cuthbert, as recognition of her tireless work for people living with Multiple Sclerosis and to raise awareness for MS. $1.00 from the sale of each rose will be donated to MS Australia.
