(Ausherbert) The Lady of the Lake™ is a graceful English rambling rose from David Austin, admired for its soft colouring, elegant form and excellent garden performance.
Pretty, semi-double blooms of pale light pink are produced in generous sprays along long, slender, flexible stems, making it ideal for training over structures. Each medium-sized flower, is open and airy in form, beautifully revealing a prominent cluster of golden stamens that readily attract bees and other beneficial pollinators. The blooms are complemented by a fresh, medium-strength fruity fragrance with light citrus notes.
With its naturally rambling habit, The Lady of the Lake™ is well suited to growing up walls, obelisks and large arches, where it can reach approximately 3.75–4.25 m. Named after the ruler of Avalon in Arthurian legend, and immortalised in Sir Walter Scott’s poem, this rose brings both romance and refined charm to the garden.
