When in the best time to plant a rose bush?

The best time to plant roses is during the winter while they are dormant/bare root, however it is possible to plant potted roses during the growing season, you just need to take a little extra care. 

If you think that you would like to try your hand at growing roses, you should begin by preparing the soil around 6-8 weeks in advance. 

Roses can live for up to 50 years with the right care, so giving your roses the best start possible by providing optimal growing conditions in the first two years of planting will ensure that you grow beautiful plants that will reward you for many years to come.
